ReActivePro™ 9-Turn Pocket Spring System. Hypnos’s expertly engineered pocket springs, ReActivePro™ with 9 active turns, provide total body comfort. The more active turns in a single continuous pocket spring the greater it's ability to sense the exact comfort and support requirement of you and your partner. A single continuous pocket spring also creates a bellow-like effect that drives cool air around the mattress and facilitates greater hygiene. This extra breathability ensures better ventilation, helping to reduce moisture and maintain a comfortable body temperature for a healthy, relaxing, and energising night’s sleep.
Talay Latex. Sourced from rubber trees in well-maintained plantations, Talay Latex is renowned for its natural origin and remarkable resilience, swiftly bouncing back to its original shape, and ensuring superbly cushioned comfort. Talalay Latex stands out as an exceptionally resilient premium material that moulds to body weight and shape, providing optimum support for a healthy night's sleep. Its superior breathability ensures heat and moisture are efficiently whisked away, promoting uninterrupted rest. Naturally hypoallergenic and antimicrobial, it provides a secure choice for those prone to allergies.
Red Tractor Assured Farms British Wool. Pure British Wool is used in this mattress as a soft and insulating upholstery layer for added comfort. Wool is a natural insulator providing coolness in the summer and warmth in the winter. Offering superb comfort, it also has hygroscopic properties encouraging the evaporation of body moisture. This wool has the added benefit of the Red Tractor Scheme, which makes farms adhere to rigorous standards that cover the full farm supply chain, including animal welfare, traceability, and environmental protection.
Himalayan Allo, Kapok and Cotton Blended Layer. Sustainably sourced Himalayan Allo and Kapok fibres are extracted to create a highly durable filling. Gentle and weightless, when blended with responsibly sourced cotton, this dynamic trio is engineered to offer both support and resilience. The Cotton and Allo components contribute to natural cooling by efficiently absorbing moisture, ensuring a comfortable sleep environment. It is both biodegradable and renewable contributing to Hypnos’s goal of creating nature-based circular designs.
Triple Edge Protection™. Higher tension edge springs provide true edge-to-edge support for total comfort and support. Designed with a non roll-off reinforced edge support to ensure total comfort and extends the sleeping area right up to the very edge.
Chemical Free Belgian Damask Cover. With a soft to the touch damask cover which provides a soft, fresh and hygienic sleeping surface. The cover uses certified sustainable cotton yarn weaved into this damask cover.
Hand Tufted. The traditional method of mattress upholstery where the fillings are secured by hand with tufts from the top of the mattress to the bottom to ensure all loose fillings are secured to provide the perfect finish.
3 Rows of Hand Side Stitching. Traditional hand-side stitching secures the outer springs to the border at the top and bottom preventing roll-out and is the most highly skilled and labour intensive of all the operations. Side-stitching is carried out by senior upholsterers using traditional long needles and twine to make borders and edges stronger. The effects on the mattress are quite dramatic preventing the springs from distorting and extending the sleeping area right up to the edge of the bed to make the borders and edges stronger.
Flag-stitched Handles. Handles on all sides for ease of positioning.
Chrome Air Vents. Chrome finished vents to allow good air circulation, regulate temperature and keep the mattress fresh.
Seasonal Turn. This Hypnos mattress should be turned once every 3-4 months. At this time, we recommend that you turn AND rotate the mattress. We would also suggest that for the first 3 months of use the mattress is rotated and flipped weekly just to encourage an even settlement of the high-quality fillings.
Eco-Friendly Packaging. Hypnos has developed an industry first by creating a recyclable, eco-friendly packaging solution. All Hypnos products are packaged in renewable sugar cane packaging that is 100% recyclable.
